Waitress neve returned after taking our order, someone else delivered our food. A man cane around asking if we need anything right as we are finishing our meal. Luckily we did not need anything thru out the meal. Food was good, I would serve a different sausage link myself but it want bad. Prices were great. And they were busy, but still got our food without much wait. I'd eat here again .

A home comfort gem with lots of options and friendly service. The food is downright delicious. We ate off the breakfast side, but they also offer a lunch side. If you’re a John Wayne fan, make sure to drop in. I’ll definitely be revisiting the Whiffletree.

Stopped in for lunch the other day. Had a fine enough experience but there was one disappointment to note. I ordered the country fried steak, mashed potatoes and gravy, and macaroni and cheese. For the most part the food was fine, but rather unremarkable. The country fried streak was fine. Had a nice crunch to it. The gravy that was poured over it and the potatoes was really good. The gravy was the highlight of the meal. Just salty enough to have flavor, but not overly so. The mashed potatoes were really good. They were the made with the skin, which I actually prefer. They had good flavor too, but the gravy again really was the star of the dish. The macaroni and cheese was a real disappointment. Their mac n cheese was almost the exact same as kraft Mac n cheese. If you had blind taste tested me with the two, I would have said there was no difference. It was not very creamy. It did not have much flavor. And was just very....Meh. The service was prompt and polite. And my soda was refilled quickly anytime I was nearly out. Will I be back? It's a ways outta my way, and nothing blew me away to take me off of my already beaten path. But if I were in the area again I wouldn't be opposed to stopping in again.
